SEARCH FOR A NEW HEADQUARTERS, WEST MIDLANDS

The chief executive needed to exit an an old and tired factory, held on very onerous terms, where the lease was about to expire in an area no longer fit for purpose

After an extensive search a site was located and terms agreed for the development of new linked production and warehouse facilities which were key to the future success of the business.
The site was developed in partnership with a major development company who delivered the project on a turnkey basis. The new buildings accommodated 175,000 sq ft / 16,257 sq.metres

The final piece of the project was the negotiation of a terminal dilapidations schedule relating to the former property where the landlord had claimed a financial sum in excess of £1million and we agreed a settlement at around £100,000.
