ASSET & LEASE MANAGEMENT FOR A LARGE INDUSTRIAL COMPANY

Assessing and managing all the properties occupied by this public company as part of a turnaround and corporate restructuring process instructed by the Chief Executive.

This was largely a leasehold portfolio with 75 properties in all but with some freeholds.

Renegotiating, and in some cases surrendering, leases and agreeing preferential lease terms to reduce the overall rent roll.

Arranging sales and leasebacks with short term leases on the freeholds generating cash for the business.

The outcome of the project was to have cleaned up the property portfolio and eliminated the onerous liabilities to such an extent that the business was successfully sold to a new owner at a significant profit.
